Rebuilding my credit from BR3 years ago. Up to 651 now.
I have late payments on my credit report from the Dept Child Support...and it appears that
they account is listed twice under two different names 1. DCS and 2. DA's Office.
There is also a cross listing to an out of state DCS because they send the payments to the custodial parent in another state through another DCS and DA's office....
This looks bad on my report and if I can remove any duplicated accounts then It woudl help
bump up my score...Calling Gov agencies is a nightmare, and I have not gotten any luck yet. One plan is just dispute the items directly with the Credit Report Agencies and bombard them with correction request....Any advice??
