DV came back now a question

Sent a Dv to National Credit Systems for a gym Collection of $500 they sent back a printout of a statement showing the balance and a contract when I joined the gym, but  nothing saying they own or have a contract to collect the debt. I am in NC. what would be the next step?

What they sent is proper validation.

If you requested the name and address of the OC and asked for an itemization of the account, they would need to provide those also.

They don't need to own the debt to collect and they don't need to provide you a contract saying they can collect.

Now you can offer them a PFD or settlement.
