DV or HIPAA LETTER?

I have a collection on my report from a medical bill of my husband's from last year. The CA is Senex Services. We have settled and it is showing on my Experian and Equifax CR as paid and verified (I disputed online about 3 months ago because I do not feel it is mine).TU took it off when I disputed online. I have since sent a DV letter to the CA. I recieved the green card back 12/14/09. I have a feeling that they won't respond. I really need this off my CR. I had excellent credit since this and I never signed a thing!
