Date of First Delinquency

Please help, I am confused.  I have two old accounts where the 7 year timeframe is about to expire on the original accounts.  However, both accounts were turned over to collection agencies and they have a date of 2009.  Will all four tradelines fall off of my report at the 7 year timeframe?

Re: Date of First Delinquency

I would call Experian, Equifax and Transunion and find out what they say the FCRA Compliance Date is.  Then, ask them when the two old accounts will fall off.  I recently did this with 2 accounts on Experian that were still showing AFTER the date that they had on my CR as the fall off date -- they apologized all over the place and immediately deleted the accounts.

Re: Date of First Delinquency

And I'll add that the 2009 date could be "date opened". This is the date the CA took over the account and that has no bearing on how long something reports. The date that must match up is the DOFD.
