Debt Listed Twice on CR by Two Different Collection Agencies

If the same debt is listed twice on my CR, with different collection agencies, can I get one of them removed? What would be the process for doing so?

What is the DoFD of the account?

If you are outside SOL, send them both a DV letter.

If you are not outside SOL and cannot afford to PIF, leave them alone.

Celtics34 I had that same problem I found out that one of them had sold it to the other one, and I sent the one who did not own it a DV letter by CMRRR. I just report yesterday on here that they deleted it. They say once you get the green card back to dispute it with the CB. That's what I did. Good luck
