Debt Validation Letter Info

Are we required to include our SSN or the account number from the creditor on our debt validation letters?  My credit reports typically have part of the account numbers marked out and replaced with the letter x.

Nope, give as little info as possible. Name and address and maybe that partial account number never SSN
