Debt Validation Letter Question.

Hello,

I'm sure you've seen these questions over and over so I'll try to be brief.

I was sent a letter from a collections agency telling me that I owe money to them and if I didn't send in a

payment I would be sued. I later sent a letter of Debt Validation and they responded with this

" based on the information provided to us, we have instructed the three major credit reporting agencies to delete the

above referenced account from your credit file".

I would like to know if someone could clue to in what i should expect to happen that way I'm not a sitting duck. :smileyhappy:

I would appericate any input.

Thank you for reading.

Re: Debt Validation Letter Question.

They either couldn't verify and wrote it off as a loss or they sold it/will sell it.
