Declined for a card, but the silver lining...

So my wife and I are in desparate need for new furniture in our house and figured I would bite the bullet and apply for a Rooms To Go card since they have zero interest til 2020.

I was declined, which I figured I would be (I have read multiple posts of people getting approved six months post BK discharge and some getting rejected, so I took the chance and burned an inquiry).  But, BUT, on the website, they told me my EX FICO score was 662!!!!!  Holy Moly, I was rather excited.  I was only declined because of my BK, and nothing else, oh well...but, with a 662 true FICO score, I am happy with that, considering my EX report looks like crap with all my missed payments after I retained my attorney to filing...

So, a silver lining there - the hard work is paying off with encouragement from all you fine folks!
