I wouldn't ruffle any feathers dosputing. I would just wait and let them handle it. Think about disputing if they do not do anything in 3 weeks or so.

I only disputed because the bill was not mine.

I had a similar event a few months back and recovered all the lost points. Keep in mind that it may not be an exact point restoration based on other factors (overall util, an account getting older, etc)
