How long does negative info stay on your report? I have heard 7 years from date of last activity but im hoping thats not the case. I HAve some delinquence flags on my report that im thinking about disputing to see if they will delete them since they are 5 years old.

You can request the creditor to grant a goodwill removal of the negative items.

Or you can try the dispute, not sure whats the impact if the dispute fails.
