I just got this email.  "Delete this account" is what it says!  Obviously the proof is in the pudding but I think this is success.  THANK YOU myfico!:

Oh, this wasn't little!  It was the only thing standing between us and a mortage.  I'm trying not to get terribly excited, as I still need to see it actually delete, but if it does - it's damn near a miracle LOL.

This just happened for me as well.  My LO can do a rapid rescore using the letter sent by the  collection agency.  Try that so you wont have to wait 6-8 weeks to get the mortgage process going. Best of Luck
