Did I get GW from Capital One?

So I sent out a third set of letters to Capital One recently and received a letter from them yesterday stating:

We've verified that the information on your credit report matches the infomration in our records....

There are no late payments reporting for the months of February 2009, June 2009, and October 2009.

We provide information to the CRA's every month.

If you still believe we've supplied incorrect information send us documentation...blah blah

I'm looking at my report that was run on 5/30/14 and there are lates on those 3 months!?!? I am so confused.

Did I actually receive GW or did they mess up?

Sounds like you'd need to look at a new report.

It is confusing though as they don't say, "we're not reporting the lates anymore" or "we've removed the lates." Is it possible they were looking at a different account that didn't have lates in those months? Have you received a CR change alert?

OH MY!! So I just looked at my TU report and that account has been moved from adverse accounts section to the satisfactory accounts section!!

The strange thing is that instead of "OK" in the months it has X's like they don't have any data. I'm not complaining...it's a positive TL now!!

I'm doing the happy dance over here....finally some good news!

Congrats!!! That's awesome. I just got the exact same letter except it said they were confirming the lates on my accounts and telling the CRAs to list the accounts as disputed. Gee, thanks for nothing Cap One.
