So I just got off the phone with TU. Two of my collections were supposed to be deleted, as per a phone conversation agreement with each aacount. Neither of them were deleted, and one still shows as unpaid. The TU rep asked if I wanted to dispute them, and that they would send an electronic message to each Ca in regards to each account.
I said yes.......was this a bad thing?
I wouldn't ever mention a verbal/written to delete an account while on the phone with the CRA's.
Some CA's actually suggest that you dispute and when they don't respond, it gets deleted. Now you just have to wait until the dispute period is over to see the results.
I just told the TU rep they were supposed to be deleted and not there. I didn't mention any agreement directly. Their thick accent was a bit tough to understand though.
