Direct Dispute Worked!!!

I had an account reporting on my credit and I sent direct dispute to them.  It was only for $49, but they responded back the other day and said the account is no longer in their system and they are contacting the CRA to have the item deleted from my report.  I called CRA today and was told it takes about 24-72 hours to update.  Anyone have any idea about how much of a score bump to expect from this deletion?

Expect a 5-7 point score bump

I got a 19pt increase when a paid $18 collection was deleted

It doesn't matter what the amount of the collection was it would be how old it was.  If it was newer, like 1-2 years,  I would expect a bigger raise in score than an older one. 

Your credit profile will also play a factor in how much of a bump you will see.
