Dispute in my favor - Question for later

if I have a dispute for a late payment to be removed, and it comes back that it has been removed. Can the creditor later add that late payment back?

Re: Dispute in my favor - Question for later

It depends.

Reinsertion of information after a dispute is always possible, but if the finding of the dispute was that the accuracy could not be verified, then the furnisher can reinsert at a later time if they accompany their reporting with the missing verification of its accuracy..   The FCRA requires a "certification of acccuracy" in such cases.

Yes, it can be reinserted, but if the dispute made a specific finding that the accuracy could not be verified, reinsertion requires an accompanying certification of accurACY.
