Dispute or Not

I have been working with a collection agency that holds 14 different medical accounts.  I have PFD on all of them.  4 of them are still hanging around.  I have called and the CA maintains they have submitted the information to have the CB remove them.  All the others I paid took about 45 days to be removed. These 4 have hung around for 60 days and counting.  I was thinking of disputing to speed of the process.

Is this a good idea???

Re: Dispute or Not

Best not to dispute with CRA's for PIF accounts, best to call collection agency and gently remind them that they agreed to delete for you payment and ask them to submit deletion of tradeline again. Smiley Happy

Re: Dispute or Not

Was this a verbal PFD, or did you have them send you paperwork that stated. "if you pay x, we will delete this negative trade line..."?
