Dispute? or even can I?

I am back into the process of trying to clean up my credit, ugh!  I can say with persistance some stuff does fall off, so don't give up people!

Here's my inquiry (I coudn't find the answer I was ooking for through forums):

I had an account with Dell Financial DO Jul 2002, I went through some personal issues in Sept-Oct 2009, and so I fell behind the account and it eventually went to collections. Transunion is reporting that my DLA is Sep 2010

Equifax is reporting DLA is Aug 2009

Experian is reporting DLA is "Not Available"

This account is paid off, so my question is this-can I dispute the difference in dates and will this remove them from my credit report???  If the September date is true-I will have about 2 more years left for complete removal-is it worth contacting them with a GW???

If the dates are incorrect, by all means dispute them.
