I had a cellphone account go to collections back in 02 and it's still showing up on my credit report as a collection item. I never paid the cellphone bill, but can I pay it in full and have it removed from my credit report or is it something I can dispute with Transunion and Equifax because it was so long ago? I just want it off my report and want to know what the "easiest way" to go about it...this probably sounds like a silly question but can anyone tell me ? thanks..
