I disputed a medical collection that appeared on my Equifax credit report three times eg. the same amount owed, DOFD etc. Today, I viewed my report and it is showing paid for all three listings. This is an extremely small victory because there should only be one account not three. I have disputed this same item two times already with the last time being via a letter versus online. Can you please give me advice on how to get these three accounts to only show as one entry instead of 3 from the same collection agency?
Also I have another such medical claim from the same collection agency that is showing up twice (with exact information) but each time (twice already) I dispute it the collection agency verifies it as my debt. I am not disputing that it is my debt but instead want it to show as just one debt not two.
