i disputed the big 3 over a charge off account that is incorrect. Is it true that if they update or change the TL that i cannot get it deleted completly just updated? also not sure why my score dropped on a closed charged off account. since closed does it affect my AAoA 30 points worth? anyways the reason I disputed was bc i contacted executive esclationdept and they havent responded with the info requested in 3 weeks bc they couldnt get it from ge..the company who took over their credit during the time of my credit issue. so i tried to contact the OC to get it resolved but they cant get the information from the ge..So with that i figured they didnt have their paperwork ogether and a good chance they wouldnt respond to the 3 CRA in the 30 day time frame and it would be hopefully deleted....
im not sure how it works...should I just wait and let this play out? or try and contact GE directky? I wouldnmt weant them to get their paperwork in order in time for the CRA disputes. what advice are you guys giving on what to do now?
Ive read not to dispute the big 3 CRA even if your in the right which i am.. but this is 3 years old and over a $15 charge off... with tons of 120 day lates etc and the charge of. the CA they sold it to i had deleted.
I also noticed that complaining on the BBB has had great results for people but should I wait until the 30 days plays out with the disputes? or try the BBB in the mean time? this is the last thing on my CR in my way and killing my CR all over $15.
pleeeease help and let me know if the disputes were a good move or bad, and im guessing my score will go back up 20 points when resolved if it is verified? freaking Ppal and GE.
Since you have already filed the dispute, let it run its course before you do anything.
Since it was an OC account, the dispute has removed certain aspects fromt the TL that caused your score to drop. Once the dispute has eneded, it should go back up. And yes, if it's removed, then it should go up, depending on what's on your file.
As a baddie ages, yes, it does impact less, but major derogs, such as a CO continue to affect your scores until they are removed.
Experian updated my dispute so no luck deleting it. ut they changed some things around ill post the pre pull credit report and then post their updated report to show you guys their updated version. not sure what they did.

sorry for the format issues... but there is the before and after. so the result of 1 dispute of 3 is they updated. before the dispute it shjowed 1st date of delinquincy as 10/2011 it appears they updated it and showed the first date as november. My last payment was $25 on sept 21st. and wasnt for full amount apparently. so i am confused as to why they updated it as they did. they also closed the account a month earlier according to the comparing both reports. does this count as re aging it?
the fact of the matter is i need to know why they changed it. obviously i was going for delete bc they signed me up for smart connect without my approval and that website showed zero balance or i would of paid the $14. but seems their book keeping is off
what should be my next plan of attack? they obviously got the dates wrong bc i have the email confirmation of my last payment, the numbers reported just dont make sense. GE took over for paypal around that time period maybe they dont have all the information they need. ANY HELP IS WELCOMED do I have them for re aging?
also notice on their updated report they only start reporting on oct 2011 on the new updated report... while the old report starts in June 2011. why did tthey leave that out. it seems the numbers in the 1st report show i have a credit and dont add up. was this when ge took over for paypal or did they not have all their documents so they didnt report it? it shows on the monthly graph with the ok below it (i just couldnt copy and paste that part) if that makes sense
as i noted they left of june 2011 to current. as june is when smart connect or the other credit arm began at paypal. before that date it was paypal buywer credit which was what i applied for. never smart connect. and I never got an email about smart connect etc. I find it convenient how they left out the 1st 3 months of smart connect on their "updated" CR they submitted to experian. here ill copy and paste so easier to see NOTICE THE LINE ITEM IN RED THEY DIDNT DECIDE TO KEEP ON THEIR REPORT. JUNE was THE !ST MONTH OF SMART CONNECT SO IN ESSENCE PAYPAL HAD 2 CREDIT ARMS COMBINED FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD
