Disputing Directly W/CRAs- Tips Please

Been awhile since I’ve attempted repair and while I’ve read the newbie section/done searches, I wanted some input on whether I should write the CRAs and try to dispute certain baddies by using a letter to the CRAs that points out wrong info on the TLS (ex., not a data factoring acct, DOFD not provided; never been late; not an installment acct; wrong balance; end of 7 yr reporting period is wrong; etc.).  FYI, I live in Calif and believe all are out of SOL for collection purposes.  Has anyone tried disputing directly w/CRAs and gotten baddies removed successfully using this method?  Pertinent baddies are below.
