Hello Everyone,
I recently ditched my credit repair company. They managed to get a few items deleted from my credit reports, but it seems that after the past few months, nothing was being deleted, so I figured I would save the monthly fee and put that money towards some stamps and CMRR letters and venture out on my own to clean up my reports! I just completed the HIPPA process on a medical collection, and I just emailed the CEO of CCB Credit Services a goodwill letter. Does anyone have any contact information on JCPenney's, such as an email address or address and contact person? I have an old charge-off from them from 2003, and I recently opened up a new account with them two weeks ago. Also, does anyone have any contact info for Plains Commerce Bank? Thanks in advance for all of your help!
Good for you! One of the best decisions I could have made when I started my credit repair journey is not to get suckered by a Credit Repair company. Its way more fun to do it on your own anyways!
Today I just got one credit item deleted through pay for delete! I am so happy! The credit repair agency kept disputing and was not successful. Its best to pay off debt and have a clear conscience in the long run anyway!
One down, two more to go. (JCPenney and Plains Commerce)
The JCPenny account should be coming off in the very near furture.
OMG is Guiness psychic? Oh wait, I just looked at the DOFD. NM.
The number to Plains Commerce Bank is 1-800-208-5095 This is the telephone number that is behind my credit card.
Hope it helps.
Update: Just got an email from the president of CCB Credit Services and she said that she has requested that the paid collection be deleted from my credit reports, and will be sending this confirmation in the mail as well! I'm so happy! It was so easy!
Excellent! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
