I agree it hurts my credit, regardless of the score. Even if I don't gain any scoring advantage by having them remove the comments, I still want them gone. Especially since it's simply not true. It WAS considered a charge-off and settled for less than full balance 2 years ago. However, they agreed to remove the charge-off status if I paid the balance 2 weeks ago. I paid the balance, they changed the status but left comments stating it was settled for less than full balance.

Yes it Does! I am so pissed I can't sleep. First Premier just changed their description on a paid charge off in 2007 mind you. I just retained legal advice and they are not suppose to do that. It ranked my EQ score by 23 points today!!!!! My question is **bleep**! Really! I don't get it. That debt was paid. I didn't like its still reported as a paid co but its paid
