Do scores go down...

Before they go up? The reason I ask is since opening 2 new lines of credit (VS & CO) my scores have dropped 20 points. I have yet to check my husbands report.... but this is kind of scaring me.

Scores can drop when you apply for new credit due to lowering your AAoA (once approved of course) and the inquiries (whether approved or not).

Hello! No worries! Mine went down too from the inquiries and the new accounts being added, but since then as long as I manage them right, my scores have gone back up and passed where I started. As every month goes by, they "age" which only helps your score closer to going up again.
