I don't think the Direct Dispute feature on CK is the reason. I think TU is just incredibly "Delete" happy right now.
I called TU and disputed late payments on two student loans (that are already closed and PIF). I wasn't disputing the loans themselves - just some of the reported late payments.
A week letter I got a letter from TU that says they completed deleted those two accounts. Which stinks because they were 12 year old lines and it's going to kill my AAoA with them off.
So - I'd go with caution when disputing things with TU.....
