Hi All,
It seems that for every step forward I take in reparing my credit report, I take two back. I just checked credit monitoring and was shocked to see a decrease in my credit report from a satisfied judgement being posted on 11/8. Should I file a motion to vacate with the court and do you think I will be successful. This is the second satisfied judgement to be reported.
I also have another question, If I call EQ to have a "now in dispute" nessage removed from an item, will my score go back up. I took a 34 point drop when that statement was added to my credit report. I sent Verizon a PFD letter and I guess they thought it was a DV letter although I clearly stated that I am willing to pay for deletion.
My suggestion would be to go to the judgement people/creditor and ask them to sign off on a vacate order.
Once you have a vacate order (signed by the judge), it will be recorded. Get a certified copy (or two or four).
Then you can do a WRITTEN dispute with the CRA and include a certified copy of the vacate order to have the judgement removed from your cr.
