Greetings...
A few days ago I received a "Settlement Offer" from EOS CCA. I think bargaining for a PFD is off the table if I settle.
The price is right and I am ready to pay it at this point to get rid of this once and for all.
Question is this
1) Do I send this Return Requested Receipt or Priority Mail.
2) Should I just send a cashiers check or USPS money order since I don't want to give my CC or Cking account info to them?
3) I am going to also send a copy of the entire letter highlighting the fact that this is in fact a "Settlement Offer" and not a payment towards their balance due.
4) What recourse do I have if they try and reneg and reage?
Thanks to all.... down to the final baddie!!!!

1. I would send certified with online tracking.
2. Yup, never give a CA your checking or debit card info. CC is ok to pay with too.
3.Good idea
4. The BB, CFPB and you also have the option of suing them for breech of contract. It is highly doubtful they would attempt to renig on a written mailed offer.
Again, thank you gdale for always providing sage advice.
I will send this out tomorrow.
