In this case I had the 2 I mentioned with DOFDs of 3/09 and 6/09 but EX had their estimated drop off date for this same accounts as 12/15 and 3/16, so it looks like EX is automatically dropping them off 3 months ealier than the 7 year mark. Is that just normally how EX operates and EQ waits right until the 7 year?

No I dont see a pattern of EX dropping earlier what most likely is the difference is the reported DoFD they are rarely the same on each report and can differ up to 3 months in time.
