ERC... Huh?

So I filed a dispute with ERC regarding a Sprint bill which I was disputing the balance. I received a letter with the final bill showing where the balance came from but the letter from ERC states they have ceased collecting this debt and asked for it to be removed from my credit. Now my question is are they removing it while in dispute or removing it permanently?

If any information under dispute is deleted with the accuracy remainng unverified, the deleiton is not absolute.

However, it cannot thereafter be reinserted by anyone unless it is accompanied by a pre-certification of its accuracy.

If the pre-certification is provided, it can be reinserted by the CRA, and the CRA must sent notice of the reinsertion to the consumer.
