Early Exclusion Transunion??- Updated

i called TU this morning to request an EE for an unpaid collection from ERC for $347 due to fall off 8/15. Rep first says that she would initiate dispute and that I should receive a follow up letter within 30 days. I told the rep that I was not disputing the information, but simply requesting removal early. She says that they must verify the dates are correct and I should receive a letter within 5-7 business days. 

Please tell me if I screwed up?

Did she initiate a dispute from what you said?

If not, then no you didnt mess up. Hopefully she understood you correctly.

They always seem to say this or something of the caliber and it ends up coming back deleted. Do you have a Transunion login to check when it's complete?

From what I've read across the forums it seems TU will delete up to 6 months early... with EQ and EX 3 months early. 

YMMV.

I'll be able to confirm in October...

@Whitneyy I use credit karma to monitor thing being updated or deleted.... Hopefully she understood and it will be deleted...

I did an Early Exclusion with TU last week. I used the online system, pressed the "other" button, and wrote that I was requesting an early exclusion and wasn't disputing.

It was gone from my report the next day, and I received a letter the next week confirming the deletion.

update 3/11/2015 just checked weekly update on Credit Karma and TU deleted account early!!!! I will be calling Ex and EQ in June to see if they will do the same......
