Enhanced Recovery collection removed, moderate score bump

I've been GW'ing the heck out of Enhanced Recovery through mail and have never received a response. I sent an email finally just to try another approach and within days my collection was removed, although they never agreed verbally or in writing or responded to me at all. So psyched. It bumped up my Equifax just by 10ish pts (it was my last collection on that one so I really thought I would get a bigger bump) and it bumped up my Transunion to 699, just 1 pt shy of 700-land! Funny that I got a bigger bump on that one even though I have one collection still on TU (though they've already agreed to PFD so it too will be off soon!).

Within the next 2 weeks ALL collections will be off of my reports and then the only ickiness will be a few accounts with histories of 30 day lates. I just wanted to send positive vibes out there to everyone else trying to get to a good place credit-wise. I was getting no results in terms of removing baddies (absolutely none), and then in the past 10 days I'm finally seeing successes. It feels wonderful and just makes me even more determined to get this ship on a good course. :-)

Good luck again to all the other credit warriors!

When I dv'ed, I just sent to customercare@erccollections.com. It's a public email address on their site. HTH!
