Enhanced recovery/Comcast success

I sent a debt validation letter to Enhanced recovery for an old Comcast cable bill which was supposed to be deleted on 06/2015. They validated the bill, but also stated in the letter saying that they will remove it from all three CRA. Within a week, the collection account was removed from all three CRA. Really not sure why they decided to remove it but they did. Thought i should share this .

Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...

This happened to me as well. Did they send you a dunning letter according to the law, or did they only report to agencies? I received no letter, and that is why I think they won't report anymore.

They also deleted off my report after disputing with the cra.

Same happened to me. Disappeared after DV. Hmmmmm, lol. Must not have any validation.

I'm only asking because a friend of mine had a collection with them and they said after she paid it, they would send it back to the original creditor and then we can try to have it deleted from there.. she's almost done paying it and I'm wondering if she should now send a DV. Hmmm..
