Score Watch alerted me today that my EQ score jumped from 668 to 675. This is the same day that I got an alert for a new $1200 installment I just started and have only made one $73 payment toward.
This installment was for a pair of watches that I could have paid for outright, but the sales rep persuaded me that I should do their installment plan because it was low interest (less than 1.5%) and that it would help my credit. This is not my only installment, so I am not sure why this helps my credit.... but the sales rep was right!
