Experian Slow to Remove Inquries

I have an inquiry which hit the 2 year mark on 12/31/2013. All of the other CB removed the inquiry on the day it aged, except for EX. I'm getting anxious... Does it always take this long & is there anyway to expedite it?

You know after 1 year it stops affecting your score, right?

Re: Experian Slow to Remove Inquries

If you scrutinize your actual Experian report it will say something like this:

Inquiry Date:

Dec 31, 2011

Reason:

Unspecified. This inquiry is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2014.

The inquiry will disappear SOMETIME during this month. It could be tomorrow or it could be on Jan 31, 2014. The only thing you can 100% count on is on Feb 1, 2014 the inquiry WILL be gone.
