Experian dispute - Account removed ???

I filed a dispute with all 3 bureaus regarding a junk debt buyer that was reporting an old collection on March 1.  My dispute was more about correcting incorrect things, not the collection itself.  TU and EQ still show the account, with a bit of corrected info.  However, EX has deleted the account entirely!!!

My question is this - how do I know if this is gone permanently from EX or if it will reappear? And if it's gone permanently, how do I find out why, so I can pass that on to TU and EQ for deletion?

Any help is SUPER appreciated!!!

Current: (7-12): EQ 690(myfico) WalmartTU 696 EX 689 (lender 6-3)

Re: Experian dispute - Account removed ???

If an account is removed during a dispute because the creditor could not verify, it can be added back later providing the CRAs certifies that the debt is valid.  It doesn't only need to be the CA who was reporting but anyone who tries to add it back.

UPDATE: Experian dispute - Account removed ???

Just a quick update on this JDB mess. Within the last week, I not only settled with the CA for the company Main Street sold to (unbeknownst to me before this insanity), but I also filed a BBB dispute regarding the inaccuracies that Main Street has been reporting. As of today, Main Street has agreed to delete the TL from all 3 reports, the new owner that I settled with hasn't reported at all, and this collection is GONE!

Unfortunately, the CO from the OC is still there, but it will drop off eventually between now and 2015 (depending on which report you look at). This makes 3-4 baddies gone for now, plus new CCs reporting that are at least a few months old...I'm really hoping for a nice boost by may.

And, I've also contacted HSBC EO regarding an old account I paid in full to see if they'll remove the lates. a very nice lady called to say she would have an answer this week.

Thank you all for your patience and knowledge. I wouldn't have gotten even this far without you all.
