Where is it in the FCRA that says that a CA "DOES NOT" Have to report anything at all? TYTY

It does not specifically say a creditor does not have to report.  It says if they report it has to be accurate information.  That is paragraph 623.

It is not the absence of a statement that they dont have to report that controls, it is the absence of any requirement for intitial reporting.

However, once they do report, it is their obligation to ensure that their reporting remains accurate.

Maybe Im think FDCPA? i thought there was a specific section stating something like they are not required to report. I remeber seeing something tot hat effect on the board but now i cant find it.
