FICO Model - Duplicate Entry Damage

yet another one for the pros (sorry guys)...

i have 2 accts (im sitting on the UDFs for both, so the question is a bit moot...just for my FICO education really) that list once in the 'negative accts' listing, and again in the 'accts' listing. both have negative history. both OCs. report pulled straight from CRA, so no formatting error.

does the fico model recognize the oc/acct # and score only once, or do you get slammed twice for each? 81-month below for each:

Re: FICO Model - Duplicate Entry Damage

That's a very good question. I never had a duplicate entry.

Re: FICO Model - Duplicate Entry Damage

well, the 2 above histories are 2 SEPERATE accounts, with EACH being listed twice (one in accts, one in neg accts). but all the info/history is the same for each (ie the history with CA for all of 2012 is exactly the same in both 'accts' and 'neg accts'. same with the other).

Re: FICO Model - Duplicate Entry Damage

You would get hit twice for both reporting.  One of each should be removed.  FICO does score all entries.

Thanks for the confirmation, this is what I had assumed.

Thats actually GOOD news I suppose, as they are both in the process of being removed, and they both have negative history...so I should (as far as the fico model goes) see the benefit equivalent to 4 negative removals.
