FICO Score goes up after Initiating dispute?

So yesterday, I disputed two Paid Charge Offs from Verizon. I never had Charge Offs with them. They overcharged me and fought Verizon and in the end got a refund check from them. I was very surprised to see these Paid Charge Offs from them. *sigh* So, I disputed them yesterday. Does the score go up just based on the dispute? If Verizon comes back and validates, does that mean my score will go back down? Any insight? Thanks.

When you dispute any OC account, certain aspects of that TL are removed from scoring during the dispute process.  Once the dispute is resolved and if they find it is valid, when the comment is removed, your score will go back to what it was.
