Re: Fall off dates

The OC account itself will not "fall off."  Derogs reported on the account will become excluded once past their credit report exclusion dates.

The monthly delinquencies will each become excluded after 7 years from their dates of occurence.

The charge-off reported by the OC and the collection reported by the debt collector will both become excluded on the same date, which is no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD on the OC account.  Inerred from their estimated date of exclusion is that the DOFD was appox mid-2007

Re: Fall off dates

So they should both just fall off in July?  If i am calculating this correctly?   This is the last bad thing on my account.

Re: Fall off dates

Yes, the collection and charge-off both have the same exclusion date, based only on the DOFD on the OC account.

As to whether that makes the OC account "positive" is questionable.

If the debt remains unpaid, the OC account will continue to show a debt balance.  That certainly might beg some questions on a manual review......

Account 2 is only showing up on Experian. I believe it used to show up on the others, but it has dropped or maybe one of them it never showed up. Account 1 is showing up on all 4(Maybe not Innovis. I'll have to check again). Equifax and Experian don't give me any kind of indication of how long this will remain on my reports, but Transunion is saying it will drop off 9/2104.  The account I'm actually wondering about is Account 2. I would think it would drop off before Account 1 sometime soon
