It looks like you now have all your legal ducks in a row to support a dispute of reported DOFD!
If the debt collector verifies the accuracy of the reported DOFD, that then provides basis for you to file a civil action asserting a lack of reasonable investigation on their part of your dispute, thus obtaining binding review of the facts. FCRA 623(c).
