Wow. So how does a civilian with no military ties become a member?!?!

You cant :/ It just so happens that my brother in law is a member, so obviously my sister is, which in turn gave me membership. Im just thankful for the opportunity.

NFCu is good, they gave me 10k and i was surprised too. just got my card last week in the mail.

Starting Score: EQ: 532, EX: 569, TU: 621 (All lender pull 10/15/11)
Current Score: EQ: 648 Myfico 12/03/12, EX: 671 lender pull 3/11/13, TU: 663 (Myfico 9/6/12)
Goal Score: 700
