Finally got some love from Capital One!!!

It has been a long journey. I started out with a fico of 550. My first step back into credit bliss was on Orchard Bank MasterCard with a $300 limit. Orchard Bank got bought out by Capital One.  So my card was transferred to a Capital One Platinum Master Card. After a couple years they raised my limit to $600..yay!  not really.  Well after 3 years of being in credit limit pergotory today I logged in to check my balance as I do periodically and was SHOCKED to see my available credit limit had been bumped up by $1500.  It was so hard to get love from capital one but after 3 years of doing my best to clean up my credit report and get my score up to 650 they automatically raised my limit to $2100.  This is a victory!!. Fyi...I had 3 late payments in 2012 when I quit my job.  It does pay to ruff it out. Keep your chin up and with time and patience it pays off!!!!  Thank You myfico for educatiing me on how to dispute my collections and keep my credit utilization in check!!!!  They should teach this in high school
