Disputing the balance?
Is that a way to get the current balance updated before the CCC reports at the statement date? I have been dying over here while waiting for my two BoA cards to report their zero balances after I dropped about 7K in cash into them.
I just missed the statement closing date, so now I wait and wait lol. =P
Congratulations, this is wonderful. You are on your way to the 700 club. How did you get results in 3 days? Was it over the internet?
Thanks
Wow! Congrats StartingSlow! That is wonderful progress!
I am just starting out on this journey, and reading your message and seeing the scores in your sig go up, it gives me hope!
Keep up the great work and best of luck with getting your new house!!!
P.S. Keep posting to let us know the progress you are making!
Congrats! Great info to know. My current credit utilization is 120%, my credit card limits are only 500, 300 and 250. Just need to bite the bullet and payoff! Great to know that just paying them off and leaving them that way could improve my score so much!!! I get more excited about improving my credit everytime I get on this forum!
Thank You
Best of Luck!
I did get my CC balances updated in only 3 days. Once I paid them off, the next day I disputed through the bureaus. The CCC only update once per month, and I didn't want to wait 30 days. I disputed the balance and it only happened to take 3 days to get the results.
Also, from what I have read over the last year on here, CC util is the fastest and easiest way to increase your scores. Just bite the bullet and pay them off. Keep one with a small balance of about 1%-3% and the others with no balance.
