I am very happy to announce that I finally hit the 700 club with one of my scores. I started my journey with a score of about 550 all across the board and yesterday I received an alert from Barclay's after they gave me a CLI that my score has changed. Today I checked and was excited to see 707. I have my last 2 baddies scheduled to fall off in the next 6 to 8 months. Once those come off I will buy all 3 scores and see what I'm sitting on. Just wanted to share the news with all of you and to give you guys a big thank you. I lurk around here at least once a day just to try to better educate myself and learn from everyone here. Again a big THANK YOU!
Congrats! Great news.

Congratulations on your success. May I ask how long it took you to hit 700?
It took me about a year to get to where I'm at now.
Thats great! Congrats!

Dang, I hate you.
I've been sitting at the 690+ but less than 700 table for several months now...it just won't go over the 700 (I have a tax lien sitting there untl Feb 2015 so I suspect that's holding me back) I have seriously been inching forward 1-2 points at a time and at 697 2 months now.
Begrudging Congrats!!

CreditFlunky, I would call the CRA's and ask for early deletion on that tax lien. Read threads on here about people who have had success. You are will within the 6 months timeframe and I would call ASAP
Another great sucess story
Congrats OP on your credit journey, you have deserved it... I on the other hand just started 3 months ago
Won't be long before your knocking on 800's door!!

Wow, I can't believe I didn't even think of that. I've seen threads about that but didn't pay attention.
Thanks for the advice....I'm gonna start searching threads.
