The other day, there was a sidebar conversation on one of these threads about how long it takes for Fingerhut to report.
I just got a SW alert and logged in to see that I got a +3 pt bump; turns out it is from Fingerhut. (I was hoping for more than 3pts, but I'm still working on perfecting my utilization, so hopefully when everything is at $0 except one at <10%, I'll see even more of an increase. I got a +7 pt bump from my CU secured card, and First Progress has not reported yet. Hoping for another bump there).
My experience:
From what I read in that thread, people are having to wait a couple of months before Fingerhut is reporting, and I think someone said that they report on the 1st of the month. That was not my experience, thankfully. If you haven't used the card, try that. Let a small balance report (then PIF of course). Hopefully that works for you as it did for me.
Thanks for the info!!! I was approved for mine on 1-19-14 and kept checking the website over and over to see when the statement would cut. It cut just a couple days ago, but it hasnt reported yet. I havent made my payment yet. Do you think if I went ahead and paid now they would report sooner?
Hmmmm. I don't know, Sasha, that's weird. Although I made a payment on the very day the statement cut, they reported it before receiving my payment. (I know this bc they reported a balance of $34.98 but I paid on that same day, leaving a $4 balance). So it would seem that they would have reported on the same day they cut your statement, whether you paid it or not.
I wonder if it depends on what kind of account you have with them? Are you in the Fresh Start program? Maybe they report that differently??
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
No, not in the Fresh Start program. CL was approved for 800 but I have yet to see it on my CRs....the inquiry showed up but nothing else.
Wow Sasha, I don't know what to make of that. Well I hope it reports soon!! Crossing my fingers for you!

Thanks!
Congrats to your success
Fingerhut has been pretty good to me. Reported right away, increases every 3 months like clockwork.
Overprice? Maybe. But when I add up what it costs me to go to the mall in my gas guzzler, hunt for parking, fight the crowd, and return home empty handed and exhausted, Im happy with Fingerhut.
Just my 2 cents.
I have fingerhut as well from what I was informed by them they report only once at the end of the month. My score went up by 3 points as well. I'm excited as well.
Hope it all works out for you all
Kind Regards
