First PFD Success - Medical Collection

After reading someone else's encouraging comments on here today, I decided to go ahead and call one of the CAs for one of my medical collections.  I just said "I want to pay in full, but I don't know what your policy is for this....would you consider doing a goodwill deletion of the trade line with all three CRs when I PIF?"  and they said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for the info and advice!! I will keep going.  It just takes on success at a time to build on, right?

Thank you!  I wanted to mention that the CA said that the hospital in question is the only client of the CA's that is willing to do a goodwill adjustment.  Not sure how that works (maybe the debt is still the hospital's / OC's and the CA does not own the debt, so that is why the CA must defer to individual clients 'policies).  I thought that was interesting.
