First Premier Bank very old account how can i get this deleted

This account I have not paid on since 2002 and I opened the account in 2001.  It says I owe 400.00.  What is the first thing I should do?

Should I send a DV or should I do a pay for delete letter.

From the information provided, it appears the accounts is close to CRTP expiring.

What is the DOFD? You can find this on an EQ report directly from EQ or you can look on a TU or EX report for date of removal.

Who is reporting? The OC or CA?

Is the account beyond SOL?

The OC is reporting... The DOFD is 4/2002 and yes this is past the SOL.  This account has been deleted from TU but not experian or equifax.

Should I wait for it to fall off these reports as well?

If DOFD is 4/2002, they should be removed sometime between 4/2009 and 10/2009. What does EX show for a removal date? What does EQ show for a DOFD?

That would be a personal choice and depend upon your situation. However, I would not make any partial payments, as it could reset SOL.

This account is only on my EQ report.  I dont see a DOFD date but Im looking at it on MYfico and I guess myfico doesnt offer the DOFD.  I will have to get my eq report also.

The Dofd date is 4/2002.  Does this mean it will fall off my reports in April this year?

As Sidewinder stated, CRTP is 7-7.5 years from DOFD, so April to October 2009 is the date.
