Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

Well Open Sky is secured and it allows you to up your CLI by adding funds to the secured deposit. So after a year of using it I can up the CLI if I chose to do so. There fees are a lot lower than First Premier.

2. Us bank secured 300.00
3. Bright Dental 2500.00 no choose at all.
4 Loan Shark 2100.00 36% interest no choose needed it for family.

Around 550 score for all three. Now ex 590 ex 627 tran 590.

2 days ago went nuts after i applied at Macy for the if you apply you get.

Macy 600.00
Bank of America 1000.00
VS 250.00

Also applied at shell they said no also rude.
Citi Bank said pay other collection try back.

I was very excited then relized more inquires bad. If i can get a raise from Bank of America. Am paying off the 36% interest. There loans is nuts on interest and it drives me nuts.

Going off any more cards for a long time. My goal is paying off loan shark (springleaf) then the dental bill.

Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

I've got a lot of inquiries on mine. I'm trying to get a mortgage. I've got a 1k secured loan through my CU and a 400 loan through a finance company. I'm sending out GW letters and PFD letters. Keeping my fingers crossed on them.

Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

True. I meant that Open Sky or First Progress, give no Unsecured CLI's. I opened a First Progress card myself. No Hard Pull and they do a good job of reporting to the CR's monthly, but opening the account took close to a month. A solid card for rebuilders.

Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

My mistake Jerry. I thought you had made a typo and was talking about First Premier. I've not heard of First Progress. I will have to check them out. Thanks for sharing that with me.

Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

For me it's because of the high fees and huge interest rate. They put me at 36% and I think paying 75 dollars a year is to much to have such a low credit limit card.

Re: First Premier Yes or No to rebuild

Unless you absolutely need the trade line (denied everywhere) I would pass on it.

I currently have a First Premier Card however my terms were for a $700 credit line and $49 annual fee. I don't carry a balance so the interest rate is a non issue. I have since been approved for a better card and plan to close the First Premier card once I have 5k in unsecured credit available. My biggest gripe with the card is if you do charge say $500 on the card when you make your payment it seems to take a good week or so before it will post and allow you access to the credit line. I am used to next business day or 2 max posting of payments on other cards. My plan for now if all pans out is close the First Premier card before the next annual fee and hopefully my credit lines will increase enough to make up for it.

EQ04 675, EQ08 676, EX08 719, TU08 703 $12704.75/$123050 Revolving Credit (All 0% or 1.99%) - In Garden Since 5/25/2016

Last negative item should fall off in July 2017.
