Rebuilding Your Credit

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who wrote and replied to posts I read or posts I made. I have just started trying to reverse many of the the consequences from my financial illiterate days. I recently posted about my 29 late payments all from 2006-2007, my high utilization, and my settled BofA account. Last week I sent out my first round of GW to CapOne, FirstFB, and Macys with hopes of bringing down my late payment number and from the advice of many of the forum members. I go to the mailbox today and low and behold there was a letter from CapOne stating they were deleting my 3 late payments on my old account. Yeah!!!! I know that this is only the first step but I'm really excited about this.

I'll second that!!!  Seriously!  I think this post here might be *maybe* the 3rd I've ever seen...and I read ALL the cap 1 letters here!

What address did you use?  How long ago were your lates??  Was it a 30, 60, 90?

I had one 30 and two 60's. I sent it to the Utah address provided by the CRAs.
