I am SO excited about this! I just got an email from a Customer service rep at Ford that they have agreed to remove my 30 day late payment from January 2012!
From everything I have read on here, I have YET to see once success with Ford, so this is to let you know it IS possible! A little back story on my late: I had cancelled my auto-pay then had auto pay set up by my bank. decided I didn't like having it done that way cancelled my auto-pay from my bank and THOUGHT I reinstated it via ford. It either didn't go through or I didn't do it right. Regardless my Nov and Dec payments were never sent and I suddenly noticed that I was behind. Once I realized this I immediately paid the entire balance due to get caught up. I have been trying since January to get this removed...
I spoke to CS at Ford, Someone in the executive office dept, Sent letters via planetfeedback and always got a big FAT NO. I decided as a last ditch effort to go through the Better Business Bureau and see if they could help me get something done. a couple of requests for VIN numbers and account numbers and 3 weeks later I received a okay we have decided to remove that late payment from your credit report.
WOOOHOOOO!!!
So thankful for this for this forum and all the advice and help I have gotten... If you have a late with ford, know it IS POSSIBLE to get them to remove it! YEAHHHH!!!
Thanks for the info. I will go ahead and try that. I have one 30 day late from July 2011 that I've been trying to GW. Sent letters, called, emailed...nothing..they would not budge. I'm trying to buy another Ford in next 2 months because I'm almost done with this one and I want to get another Ford..but with their strict NO GW policy I think i will skip it this time around...I have seen some recovery with my score since this 30 day is from last year but want to have a good tradeline...been kind of scared of going further as I was actually late 3 times but only one 30 day is reporting. I did not want to wake up a monster, but i figured if BBB resolved this then great...if not and they add 2 more...I will really raise hell...LOL...
I would go for it... I had really given up all hope of it being removed and found out yesterday on Friday the 13th that it was going to be removed... so much for that being an unlucky day! :-)
Went ahead and submitted the BBB complaint...included my account and VIN number as well (thanks for heads up) so they should have all the info needed. I will post my success story (hopefully) as soon as I hear something back.

Good luck!
I did not even get off the ground with this...arghhh

Sounds like you need to re-word your BBB Comlaint and resubmit... IMHO
I agree you need to reword...
I emailed the case worker to see why exactly my BBB complaint was rejected. I mean if you can't complaint about collection issues or billing issues to a lending institution then what the heck is the world coming to...on the other hand I emailed the CEO directly at 3:15pm and got a callback from the Executive Office within an hour...explained my case...told them that I'm making my last car payment this month (Which is true) and want to get another car from them...but their strict NON GOODWILL POLICY is really making me rethink getting involved for another 5 years with them as other companies are more lenient. We will see
Could you please send me the email you used for the CEO. I have a 30 day late on 2 of my credit reports, and I would really like to try and have them removed since my EQ report doesn't show me as being late. Thanks
